To Do in Huntsville: Nuit Blanche North

Fan favourite event is always delightful

With Notes from Huntsville Festival of the Arts

Anyone paying attention to the hot air coming out of my mouth will know that for many, many years I’ve lauded Nuit Blanche North as the best community event in Huntsville and Muskoka.

Though I’m not worried about other people’s opinions on my entertainment standards, most people tend to agree to some degree that the expression of artistic magic is definitely in the Top 5 of community events in the region.

It’s a must-visit evening of wondrous creativity which will delight the senses and it takes place this Saturday, July 20 in Downtown Huntsville. Nuit Blanche North is free to all and there is plenty family friendly entertainment to go around.

This is the 12th year Nuit Blanche North has been curated and organized by the Huntsville Festival of the Arts (props to the countless hours put in by HFA executive director Dan Watson and his team) and they are able to make it happen with support from TD Bank: The Ready Commitment and the Downtown Huntsville BIA.

As well, they receive support from a variety of arts grants and volunteers, ensuring annual signature event doesn’t disappoint.
