Muskoka Basketball League final set
Clear Lake Brewing Company are looking to win the Muskoka Basketball League title for the third-straight season after defeating the Boone Plumbing Ballers 61-58 in semi-final action on Monday night.
The Ballers, who were champions before the Clear Lake back-to-back wins, fought hard and almost took down the defending champs.
But, it was not to be and now Clear Lake will take on the top-seeded Family Place Restaurant and Pizza squad on Monday, March 18. A bye-week will be held during March Break.
Family Place had an easier time in their semi-final, dispatching Fike Masonry 65-55.
Gravenhurst High School will host both the final and the third place game, which will be between the semi-final losers.
Also on Monday, the consolation round featured the Huntsville Hurricanes beating the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 64-57 and the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder crushing the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 90-66.
Huntsville High School will host the March 18th consolation games with the Thunder and the Hurricanes vying for 5th place and the Raptors 705 taking on Rosseau Lake College for 7th place.
