Great action after the holidays

Muskoka Basketball League returns with a bang!

The Muskoka Basketball League returned from the holiday break to some great action.

Clear Lake Brewing Company came out of the break firing in a 85-68 thrashing of the first-place Boone Plumbing Ballers. It was the Ballers second loss of the year.

The second place Family Place Restaurant & Pizza squad gained a game on the Ballers with a 68-44 win over Fike Masonry.

Meanwhile, the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder are still floundering in last place, winless at 0-10, and looking in a very tough spot after a 93-77 loss to the Huntsville Hurricanes.

In the other game of the week, the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves feasted on the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 54-37.

Upcoming Games

On January 15 will see Clear Lake take on Fike Masonry at 8:05 p.m. in Gravenhurst, followed by the Thunder against the Raptors 705 at 9:10 p.m.

Up the road in Huntsville, the Ballers will look to shake off their second loss of the year against Family Place (8:05 p.m. tipoff) with the Hurricanes and T-Wolves going at it beginning at 9:10 p.m.
