Hoyas fall in GBSAA final, BML cross-country athletes qualify for OFSAA, MPS volleyball championships

The Huntsville Hoyas boys’ soccer team fell short of their goal to once again qualify for OFSAA after losing the GBSAA ‘AA’ final to Holy Trinity on Friday, October 28 in Orillia.

It was a tough loss to a very good team, and came after a 4-0 victory in the semi-final over Nottawasaga Pines SS. In the win, Rowan Simpson scored twice, with Johnny Fiorini and Oscar Juszczak adding the others.

Coaches Jeff Young and Kevin Quinn were pleased with the Hoyas efforts over the season.
